However, it is more difficult to readily obtain software - CD, SACD, DVD-A and vinyl records. While there has been a revival of the vinyl medium in the past few years it would be foolish to write off the digital domain. Some say that SACD is "dead". Whether that is true remains to be seen. Whether CD is really a low quality medium depends on how the original material was recorded and what it is being played on.
